While some may have the image of "losing consciousness" or "being controlled" like in hypnosis shows on television, the actual session is completely different. Throughout the session, your consciousness remains completely clear, and you are always in complete control.
Even in a hypnotic state, your rational mind remains active, so you won't accidentally blurt out secrets you don't want to share. If you feel like stopping or want to open your eyes, you can freely interrupt or end the session at any time.
